Bug Fables follows the journey of Team Snakemouth as they search for various artifacts to help them find the Everlasting Sapling, a mythical plant that can grant a bug eternal youth. Battles are turn-based and make use of action commands that can enhance attacks. A charming game that takes inspiration from the old Paper Mario games but adds enough content to be something fresh.

Bug Fables is an adventure RPG following three heroes, Vi, Kabbu, and Leif, as they embark on an epic quest in Bugaria in search of treasure and immortality! The game combines colourful platforming with the heroes' unique abilities as they explore a wide variety of areas in the kingdom.
